I was gonna say Seam Grip but that stuff seems more cost effective.

I own a Eurovan Weekender - the tent on that is pretty heavy cotton canvas and has some mesh backed, zippered windows. Probably a bit of a pain to sew in there, but 1000% worth it in the end for camping use. Ours has developed a bit of rot in the shortest section (near the back where it doesn't lift much) after 15 years. The synthetic stuff you are using looks like it won't have that issue.

BTW the wife gave me the green light to drive to norcal and buy this friggin thing when it is ready for the masses.:mudding:

I used this stuff on my first topper I did with tonneau cover material, it worked great! I had a chunk of material like you'll have that was just needle holes and that filled them right up. Love the progress!

    Just the basics
I just wandered in here and read this whole thread. Love it. Competition in the market place is good for everyone. If I didn't have my FWC and was starting from scratch this would definitely be an option. More so than the Habitat. Anxious to hear what the weight is when done and the cost of course. My FWC Finch weighs in at 575lbs with no camping gear. After owning a Flippac the FWC is awesome but weight sucks. I still think about having a lightweight aluminum commercial topper/shell with an extended height~6" in order to have more head room when inside.

I've got a feeling where you're having this built but not gonna say anything nor post the pics of the truck that has inspired my thoughts on an aluminum shell because it has the manufacturers logo on it.

Also 90% sure I know where it was built. Really tempted to contact them about getting a build started with some tweaks to the basic design I'd like to have, but resisting till @Iggy gives the go ahead since it's his project and sounds like he's got some arrangement going with the company.
