What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Thanks! Nice piece. The added protection to the rear sides and corners offered by this are outstanding. With the HC rear does the trailer hitch offer any intrference or complicate clearance at all? I'm considering rear options at this point and with my need to pull a trailer quite a bit I'm trying to figure this stuff out

 

Those sumabitches are HEAVY. I would recommend picking up a bottle of jack oil (about $5) because when I got my jack, it was low and that's apparently common. Took me about 5 minutes to top it off and then bleed the system. I've had no issues whatsoever with it and the instructions for everything are in the manual.

The hitch for the draw bar is hidden behind the license plate.

 

Installed some rails for cargo/tie downs inside the softopper.

 

Finally secured a workable panel to mount my Bussman relay/fuse box and Circuit Breaker. A big mega-thanks to parnoid56. My truck has a bigger master cylinder assembly than a lot of other Tacos (why, I'm not sure) and his regular panels were too big to fit. But after two tries we finally came up with a nice tight little panel that fits.

 

Remember the bolt size for mounting the panel to the truck?

Im heading to the hardware store after work today..........

 

They are standard M8 1.25-pitch bolts. About 3/4-inch long should be sufficient.
