Bumper's here! At least, I assume the package I picked up from the freight place is the bumper. It may just be a bunch of mushy bricks.

Whatcha doing at 10 tonight? Lol. I have the old bumper off entirely, I need two sets of hands to hold the new one while I do bolts. Then will need to do some wiring for the rigid lights. Should take like 45 minutes tops I figure? Will also be around early tomorrow morning

@mwc273 after all that hard work Sunday, I am seriously considering ordering 1\2 spacers since I have to take the driver's side back out anyway...

bought a winch, did the grid it organizer in center console, sealed holes in bed boxes with epoxy (now need to silicone the edges and add some seals in the front two corners of the cap and maybe around the tailgate). just got the winch in yesterday so now i need to wire it up and do a quick drag test to make sure everything is working properly, then run some welding cable and connectors so i can use the winch on the front or rear (its going to be in a cradle anyway... might as well have that capability)

something i learned on saturday: contrary to popular belief, it is NOT fun to drip molten plastic on your finger. it dries quick enough that you can't get it off... so it just sits there and burns a hole in your flesh.
    taco lean spacer??

i have accepted the fact that mine leans to the left.

Thanks again! The help was invaluable. I'm electrical retarded for sure. Definitely better at "bolt this thing onto that thing" type truck mods. Went out and popped the lights on at night, those things are wtf bright.

Also, saw this little guy over the weekend.IMG_20170529_092156.jpg

The driver's side doesn't have the bottom washer for the busing on the top hat. Supposed to go, washer, bushing, top hat, bushing, washer. I only have one washer on the top to there is nothing keeping the shock stud from pushing up through the hat when stuffed, make sense?

I have some parts, but, I made a classic mistake in troubleshooting.

Much like machinery, when troubleshooting, the first question is "Is it plugged in?".

Well, with vehicular vibrations.....the first question should be, "are the tires properly inflated?" and I just so happened to skip that step, and went straight to 'Possible worst case scenario'.

So, when the weather warmed up, and the air in my tires expanded, the vibrations went away.

    Fuck me, right?

Any of you all replace the air pump filter with the UNI filter as well?

I've been thinking hard for the last two weeks about a meet at the house. Been scoping out potential camping spots, because more pasture has been allocated as crop planting so, access to my good spots has been restricted, however, there is still a really good spot across the road.
