Haha! Suck it Toyota. Just refinanced my Toyota financed truck to my bank. That cost more than replacing my headliner.

So I finally decided to do something about this hideous headliner. The tape just fell off immediately. Took the trim off fully planning to just glue everything together.

Then I realized maybe the headliner isn't too small (still could be) but more that it's separating. So the outer layer is what's falling out and not the whole thing. See picture:

What I did was just glue the outer piece back on to the foam backing. It's only been two days but it hasn't popped out yet. Prior to gluing it wouldn't last five minutes before popping out.

Let's hope it stays that was because it's a little embarrassing.

    :fingerscrossed:

Which dealer u went to? Team said my warranty is out and this is not covered under platinum! But the way i see it it is a factory defect and not something tgat failed due to abuse

Mine did the same thing. Dealer fixed it when I dropped it off for the diff recall (that I need to take it back for). My guess is they did the same you did. Truck smelled like adhesive for a few days.
