Orange County CAF's: up to no good

I've done it a handful of times over the yr's!I still want to camp up at the top sometime for sure!

 

You get to sleep in til 4am... well shit that must be nice im up at 130 getting ready

I love my sleep. I'm such a princess. You guys doing trade work always win in the no sleep department.

 

Yup wake up at 130 with a newborn really sucks... im like a zombie all day and sneak off for naps at work when i can

 

Yeah, you don't really understand sleep deprivation until you have a kid.

@dtaco06 son was building a wall in SD last weeknd. I asked him what it was for and he told me daddy said to keep the mexicans out .... i had to give him a high 5 and helpped him build it bigger

 

My son would have been all over that shit like white on rice. I tell mine we need to dig a ditch.

 

Did that several years ago with the in-laws and they loved it!

 

When I lived up in Idyllwild we used to hike up and over Tahquitz and camp overnight. Then hike to the tram and have a friend pick us up at the bottom. Gods country up there. Don't know if I could do it now the uphill is brutal.

 

I used to do it the other way. Take the tram up, camp over might and the hike down into Idyllwild. That long ass steep down hill with all those switchbacks are a killer on the knees.

 

I did that a couple times and it was a lot easier. Did it once in the snow and it was harsh. Like to do it again before I get too old. That means very soon. Did you camp up by the creek?

Been dying to do some actual hiking. Would love to hike around Idyllwild
