Buy some PB Blaster and soak those nuts and studs thoroughly before you attempt to take the nuts off. Otherwise, you'll likely snap the stud in half and have to remove the pipe in order to have the stud drilled out and replaced.

Update: Ordered the Denso and swapped it out right away. I've had it on the truck for about two weeks with no issues.

So kind of a old thread. But.. so i have the same code. I replaced my upstream o2 sensor with a denso unit. 9003. I cleared my CEL and the code came right back. Any suggestions?? I have the #2 sensor (post cat)that im going to replace also. Thanks for your help.

What's your engine? For the 2.7l, there is no P1135 listed, but there is a P0135, which reads about the same. This is for your Bank 1/ Sensor 1 - Air/Fuel sensor, not your O2 sensor (although they are both commonly called O2 sensors). I don't see that code for the 3.4l either.

I've had trouble with that code also. Did the diagnostics on a brand new sensor. The new sensor was good. The relay checked out good too. I did get the light off after checking and reseating all connections (twice).

Look at the tabs on the plug in the diagram. It's a PITA to check. I had my laptop under the truck with me so I was sure I was reading from the right prong.

I also switched relays with another of the same type in the fuse block. Somewhere in the process, the battery was disconnected, which reset everything. The light never came back on after that (for this code anyway - I had an EVAP code shortly thereafter). This was over a year ago now.

Yes it looks the same. B is the upper left, and HT the upper right.

This is a different code, shows how to check the A/F sensor on the 3.4l.

So a little update. New denzo didnt fix the issue. So i broke down and took it into the shop. Turns out it was the ground on the intake manifold was bad/loose. Problem seams to be resolved. They said that it can leave you car/truck dead in the water. I guess its the first thing they check.
Hope this can help someone else out.
