    Hello everyone!

My name is Dan, I'm the store Manager at Rack Attack Boston located in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Rack Attack started as a single store back in 1996, and we have grown into North America's premier retailer of vehicle rack solutions.

With 11 locations across North America to ship from, our online customers experience shipping to their door in less time, for no cost (most of the time).

If you live close to one of our store locations, we install everything we sell. Many in-store customers choose one of our 'factory style' rack installations.

We have over one million happy customers, and you can count on us to ensure you are the next.

    Hi scottalot!

We would reccomend the Landing Pad 6. The Yakima Landing Pad 6 creates a solid mounting point for the Yakima Skyline Tower on camper shells or tonneau covers. The Landing Pad 6 is made for a fiberglass roof. Currently we are having a 20% off sale. Please give us a call @ 508 879 1444 to discuss if you would prefer. Thank you for reaching out!

Hey Rack Attack - is there any way to use the Yakima landing pad system on the roof of a 2017 double cab?

Love how easy it is to take on and off - i see the black strip up there- and I have heard others reference threaded holes under those strips??

I do not have the OEM roof rack - naked roof

    Hi Dan!

Is there a landing pad that would work on the roof of a 2013 Double cab? Seems pretty straight forward - i have the channel covered with vinyl and there are two sets of threaded mounting points hidden underneath.

Thanks for any info you can provide!

    Larry

    Hi Larry,

Based on our fitguide, there is only a "bare roof option" no fixed moutning points. With that being said you would have to Fit Kit/Baseclip options depening on the vendor. For Yakima the sytem would consist of:
    For a Thule system:

I hope this was helpful. If you would like, please post pictures of your mounting points, a picture with and with out the cover would be great
