Hey guys. I am new to the forum and the world of Tacoma's.
I'd like to put a new exhaust on my 2012 Tacoma and found a nice dual exhaust for a 2013 Tacoma.
I know that a 2012 exhaust will fit a 2013 truck with a small modification, but what about the other way around?
Will a 2013 catback dual exhaust fit in my 2012 Tacoma?

Also, will I lose or gain power/torque/mpg with going with a dual exhaust (2.5" pipe) over a single exhaust. I have looked but can't find a solid answer.

    Thanks guys.

As long as the cab configurations and engine size are the same it should bolt right up. It won't gain you anymore power just some sound and a bit better throttle response. Mpg may be affected. Welcome to TW

No. There is a difference in mounting the rear hanger on the 2013 vs the 2012. This is why when you do a search for Tacoma exhausts they always have 2005-2012 and 2013-2015. You can fit a 2013-2015 exhaust on a 2005-2012 but it will require modding.

Correct, you would have to bend the rear hanger to make it work.

Thanks guys. Is that the only mod needed? To bend a hanger? That's not so bad.

I don't care so much about gaining power or mpg, I just don't want to loose any. Sound and looks is second to performance
