Wants, but I already take enough shit for being 2wd with sliders and soon to be rear steel plate.

Oh that is nice! I still think I may do that with my Hi-Lift but only put it on there when I am on the trails and not on the highway.

Reasons that I have not disclosed yet. Don't want to jink myself on something. When I get a final word then I will post the reason why, what it is, and so forth.

Agreed, once I have the mounts exactly where I want I'll put the jack away until we go wheeling.

10mm flare wrench works good to keep the fittings from rounding off. Bleeding it's the fun part unless you have some speed bleeders to use. I will say I had to follow a little tip on here about bending the thin metal clips a bit so that they hold the new fittings better. Give me a holler if you hit a snag if you want.

That is my plan as well. Will keep it in the bed when not wheeling and throw it up front when wheeling for easier access.

    WITH BRUTE STRENGTH!

Thanks for the tip, I am more than likely going to get a speed bleeder and have a friend help me out that has done stuff like this before.

Just not sure when it will get done.

Sir. It's illegal to drive with a machine gun mounted to your vehicle.

Not a problem. Those little speed bleeders are awesome. Takes any guess work out of the equation.

I've seen that one and shook my head. Around here probably half the trucks have on bouncing around in the bed as this is sodbuster country and most everyone is a farmer.

Pretty sure there is a story about some lady calling the cops because of a hi-lift mounted to a jeeps hood...

I've kept it in the bed for wheeling and just pulled it out when needed. It's easier to get to it from the bed, from my experiences. But now I'm going to mount it to my rear gate to be able to put more stuff back there.

Camper shell makes it to where I have to get in the bed to get it out as I mounted it on the front wall of the bed.
