    As long as it's not terribly advanced, it's treatable with diet and insulin monitoring and maybe injections. Sugar cats (google that) is more common than you'd think. I had one. Had to check sugar (just like a human) with an ear prick and blood sample. Learn about it. You'll be able to handle it.

    Way ahead of that already. Went & was taught how to administer the shots already. We're a day & a half into it now.
    He'll go back late next week to have a glucose curve study to see if we need to adjust the doseage.
