    Hi all,
I have an 06 Tacoma with 110k miles that has lived most of its life in Maryland and is now in Virginia. Virginia requires inspections and even though the body is in great shape (no rust but a few dents) the frame failed inspection due to multiple rust perforations. Holes everywhere, frame delaminating, it's a mess under there. Dealership told me about the lawsuit and settlement so I am waiting for some more news on that. I see that the judge approved it but they have not heard anything. I have spent some money on patch panels but as the guy welding holes shut told me "this thing will be all panels soon, please don't crash"
Anyone have any idea on timing on this settlement? Toyota sends me to the 800 prerecording for the law firm which is useless. I don't want to keep putting money into a disintegrating frame.
Also, I advise people to get their frame looked at or spend a while crawling under it with a flashlight. Mine looked like just a little surface rust from the outside. I definitely did not expect it to be mostly rust. Inside rails and right behind the engine, falling apart.

I didn't see that last one, my local dealer was not very well informed. Thanks! I'll delete this and keep an eye on that.

Second to last post from @dmarsh15 details his experience with the dealer since the settlement. It will give you a good idea of what to expect.
