XB fog lights

Good morning

Just curious if anyone else has Morimoto XB fogs and are noticing a purple tint from them.
They claim 5500k however they do not match my 5500k retro when looking at the front end and are definetly more on the purple side. Light output on the road is similar to the headlights though.

Is there a break in period for these things? I have probably only used them 3-4 times in roughly 2 months.
