Hot here today, 79 or 80. Watered the lawn for the first time yesterday, need to give it its first mowing now. Sometime. ) See if I can get a night of camping in before the holiday, use my new air mattress and Kirkhams Springbar tent. A palace. I think I just about have enough wood split to fill my woodshed. Have to wait a little for some wet wood to dry, laid it out in the full sun. It should dry nicely in a couple weeks, at least it was not green.

:rain: here, but not cool. Stump burning slowly, but definitely going the right direction.... have some bigger wood pieces to put next to it to help it out. Hopefully get to do it next weekend, needs to dry out again.

Went fishing. Only caught one mackinaw, about four lbs. That's 20 lbs in fisherman weight. ;)
Possibly a little too much sun, but not burnt.
    All in all, fun.

    Evening all:
One is better than none! At least you have some beautiful places to fish, I live in the mountains and there are some really pretty places that I have fished.
The fishing is so bad right now for walleyes that even the liars aren't catching any fish!

50 and overcast...yesterday, the winds were high and blowing sand and dust made it look like smoke all along the base of the mountains.

    Afternoon all: :rain:
Ordered a marine starting battery online from Advance auto, went up to pick it up and noticed the code on it was 6/16, already almost 1 yr. old. Told them I didn't want it and they said that they would have another one in the store by 4pm with a newer mfg. date on it, still better than the new 4 yr. old garden tractor battery that NAPA brought out a couple years ago! :annoyed:

    Morning all:
Good luck on the Coho's in lake Michigan Gary, I think the chinook's are in there also, it would be nice to tie into a couple of them along with the Coho's.

Picked up the other battery last night, only 4 months old, better than the year old one!
I had sent in the paperwork for the refund for the replacement batt. for the 66, still waiting. I will give it until the end of June, if I don't have the check by then I will contact them and see if there is a problem, which there shouldn't be.

    Afternoon all:
:annoyed: Just returned the second Batt. to Advance auto, as I was getting ready to put it in the boat I noticed a bulge in the case by the neg. terminal and the neg. terminal was cocked, plus there was some corrosion on the base of the posts, neither should be like that! Told me if I wanted to wait another batt. should be there in about a half hr. since they were getting other stuff from another store and they would send it along, waited and when the parts runner showed up he didn't have the battery! :annoyed: Now need to go back up at around 4:30, this is turning into the battery from H***, hope the next one is acceptable!
This is the first battery I have ever purchased from Advance auto, may also be the last!

Thanks Carl and Joe. We got 6 Cohos and plan to grill Salmon at 6 PM.

No Chinooks but I understand July is good for Steelheads.
