So my Revo 2s had a very short life of 20k miles.

I'm looking to replace them and going back to a LT tire. Im looking at these few:

    Toyo Open Country R/T
    Pro Comp Xetreme MT2
    Firestone Destination MT

The Toyo are American and have a 45k mile tread warranty
The Pro Comp look the best and have a 40k mile tread warranty
The Firestone would be pro-rated since the Bridgestone Revos sucked ass.

These tire threads always get so many responses, because everyone chimes in with what they're running and how great they are.

With that said, I recommend St Maxx :anonymous:

I've looked at Cooper they are sexy but no tread warranty. The Cooper STT Pros we're on my radar until I saw the lack of mileage warranty.

I've heard Nitto is a bit soft and wear quickly. I just got my Revos in Aug and I'm under 4/32s

I'm running a pretty heavy set up with armor so I'm trying to stay clear of tires that run softer. It doesn't help I have a heavy foot and run her hard. I'm really hoping it was just the P-Metric factor that caused 50k tires to be down under half tread after 20k

KO2s have a lot of disappointed people after some miles on them. So staying clear from them too.

Not set but I would like one of course it doesn't look like it's doing me much good with the Revos. The MTs are nice too the RTs are suppose to be the hybrid of MT and AT.

The more tread warranty the harder the compound.

Harder compound equals less pavement grip, dry and wet.

Pick the best tire for how the vehicle is used 80+% of the time, not what you think you might do someday.

Then balanced, frequently rotated and regularly aligned make for max life

That's pretty much what I'm going for. The issue was the Revos with a 50k mileage are under 4/32 in 20k with frequent balance rotation and alignments. So I'm looking for harder tires that will make it longer than 9 months.

I was very impressed with the Kelley TSRs that my son had on his truck. They were pretty quiet and seemed to wear well.

I'm leaning towards Cooper STT Pros if the shop can find them.

I put 70k miles on Terra Grapplers...I'd buy them again but I'd like something quieter.

Total Chaos UCA's, Raceline Raptor wheels (16x8) 4.5 BS, 285/75/16 Cooper S/T Maxx tires, Icon Stage 2 Lift Kit, Sos sliders w/ fill plates, exhaust reroute, mobtown offroad skid plates (ifs, transmission, transfer case), and diff breather mod
Go Cooper s/t maxx. All terrain tire that performs like both an all terrain and a mud tire. They self clean mud and can climb rocks great. 10 ply so you most likely won't picture them, e rated. Not heavy for e rated as they are 60lbs each at 285/75/16 size. Also great siping so no slipping on the road, the other day I drove 4 hours through the rain on the interstate and didn't slip at all

I found Mickey Thompson MTZs for like $218 (New) a tire I'll probably end up with those.
