The specific area we are in got hit hard with snow. It did damage to a lot of roads. It was a mild winter basically til the end and we got a winters worth of snow in a month.

 

hunting shouldn't be to bad then if snow came late, but the roads that's another story, think ill get out in the summer to do exploring and what not............ bef the winter hunting

 

Roads are looking pretty decent this spring. Jason and I scouted out some areas for an upcoming trip.

I was south of there, off the Spencer Road. I have a camp down off the Spencer Road so we were up there and decided to go see how my favorite sites fared over the winter/spring. The one pictured took even more damage this year. The bank now is completely gone. I used to ride that to get in but its too under cut now

 

^ Nice little camp spot on that pond there, I stayed there a couple years back, but one of the bridges connecting Spencer toward Rt 201 had gone out.

 

I'm not familiar with that area, you guys speak of it often ill half to make a trek out there

 

All the bridges are in and most of the roads are not driveable. There are still some out there that were destroyed last year and havent been able to be repaired.

I will be camping the weekend before on June 23-25 at bear brook state park. No back to back trips for me man!

 

Do you plan to 4x4 (wheel/off-road) w/e the hell you wanna call it lmao. Or just tent/camp... im coming from rhode island. Going from ny to blockisland. Then rhodeisland to mt.washington

 

Im just doing camping with the family this time, no offroading to happen while im up there.
