Bought a set of secondhand OEM lug nuts and they arrived and I just noticed that they are a bit shorter than the ones my Sport came with. Anyone recognize these?

Just pulled the trigger on OME Leaf Springs to complete my lift. As you guys know I was waiting for my sales bonus to come through but since OME just released their latest revision of leaf springs (which I don't like) I wanted to grab the ole CS047R before they became impossible to source.

I hear ya HIYota. This might receive negative feed back but I shifted the hell out of that auto trans, shift points suck on the later model 2nd gens. I had a 2005 DCOR Pre and shifted that auto a lot less. I took my 2005 in for a potential service at 50k and they said the trans fluid looked like new. Never had a problem driving it that way. Ok, let me have it. :crapstorm:

Gersus, just to let you know on the ARE MX series camper shell, there is an issue. The plastic on the rear that overlaps the tailgate angles back and will rub through the paint on the tailgate. Happened to me within a few months of install.

I took a road trip to Colorado, cycled across the state with my wife driving the truck sag support. We did a drive on gravel roads in the mountains, lots of off camber and bumps. When we got back I noticed that plastic edge had rubbed right through the paint to the metal. I went back to the installer and they worked with ARE to eat the cost of repair. I also got them to pay for the repair shop to install a protective strip over the paint. The installer also put a run of door molding bumper under that plastic strip to help keep it off the paint.

I'll never buy ARE again. I like the shell shape and size but the issue turned me off. I'd go Leer on my next shell.

@VangaSTL I've ordered the Viair 300p compressor and want to have it wired in the engine bay. Could you help me out in what I need to purchase to be ready to do it? Along with those little rock lights I talked about previously.

I already have CH4x4 buttons on the way, along with the switch panel for the cubby hole someone designed on here.
At home I have rolls of 16 guage wires black and red. Oh and some of the metal things for the wire ends to hook up places. And i think there's a solder tool in the shop too, lol.

I'm ready to buy this relay on Amazon. Though I just found this switch/relay in one. Would that help simplify it? and what kind of fuse I would need.

With those low power, lights I have... I think you said an inline fuse would be enough before?

Not sure what else i would need aside from how to mount it. (Ill figure that out)..Im really just clueless on the electrical stuff. Been watching a few intro videos, but I'm a hands on learner.

    and now I've found this.

You need to find out what the power consumption of the compressor is. (Either Watts or Amps) that will tell you how big of a relay and fuse along with what guage wire you will need to power it.

Edit: I just looked up your compressor and it says max power draw is 30 amps so you will need an inline fuse holder with a 30amp fuse. Next you need to determine how far away the compressor will mount from the battery, depending on the distance will depend on what gauge wire you can use. My guess is it will be less than 10 feet so you will need to use a minimum of 10 gauge wire to power the compressor, you can use almost any gauge wire to hook up the switch, I usually use 12 or 14. Same with the rock lights, they are such low power draw you can pretty much use any size wire.

I got the compressor in the mail today. It actually has an inline fuse already attached. I didn't realize it would.
Would it be feasible to cut the wires from the alligator clips and just add new ends for the battery attachment? Or should I still buy some larger gauge wire?

There is a large space behind the air filter that it will fit/mount easily.

    Thanks again for your help.
