Is anyone sporting a Tough Country front bumper?

My truck is a 2011 SR5 access cab.
I hit a deer back in January (below freezing, completely shattered the passenger half of the front bumper), I was absolutely shocked at what little there is of an actual bumper on the 2nd gen Tacomas. It falls under comprehensive on my insurance, a $300 deductible, and I could simply have it repaired to stock, but there's too good of a chance it'll happen again. So I'm figuring after market.

It's pretty much between this one and an ARB.
The Tough Country are heavy, though... around 300lbs. At some point I'm going to want to run 265 tires instead of the 245s I have now... not much tread left on them. To prevent rubbing I'd be looking at a lift of some kind anyway, right?
Factoring all of this in, what kind of lift would be recommended with an aftermarket bumper like this, without the truck looking too extreme...? I also have a canopy.

And would springs and/or other suspension upgrades be necessary as well? I'm a noob when it comes to mechanical.

I don't need a winch but I must admit, that truck in the stock photo looks quite badass...

Don't need a lift to run 265s! Ran them for s year no rub at all even in full flex off road

...seriously? I was sure rubbing was almost guaranteed...

Well with an aftermarket bumper weighing 300lbs I would bet there's be rubbing.

I think you might just be underestimating the amount of load the suspension can take. My buddy was rocking an ARB bumper(heavy as hell) 265s and stock suspension, still no issues. It will fill the wheel well but you should be good. Worst case scenario, get some springs.
