Glad the battery situation is resolved.

Love Walleye and wish we had caught some.

If I remember correctly, Culver's had a Walleye fish sandwich several years ago on one of my visits.

Morning all!! Another overcast morning here in northeast PA. Working on projects around the farm today....and hoping it stops raining sometime soon. We need some warmer weather so we can use the pool!!

Good Morning All.. Wishing everyone a Great Memorial Day. At the clubhouse where I live, we are having a Memorial Day Remembrance for those that have paid the ultimate price fighting for our freedoms. It's nice to have an event like this as most people look forward to just the weekend with Monday off and not the true meaning of Memorial Day. To all Veterans, THANK YOU FOR YOU SERVICE.

Way to much trouble getting a battery. Advanced Auto must be recycling batteries from last year:facepalm:.

    :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:. Enjoy dinner:hungry:.

Hope this battery works for you Carl. Have to get the boat in the water, Theres a big ole Walleye out there with your name on it.:D

Sun was peeking out a bit down here, but the weather is calling for more rain later in the day :angrygirl:. It's getting very annoying.

    Enjoy the weekend all.

    Afternoon all:
A salute to all veterans for the upcoming memorial day, and another "thank you for your service"!
Ken, I'm sure there are those out there that don't have a clue as for what memorial day stands for, I would bet Watters could find a few of them without even trying too hard! :(

Nice statue Sue , now you need to stand guard so some idiot doesn't decide to vandalize it.

:woot: Just finished up installing an offset seat base in the boat in order to run the jet. Had to cut a 2 1/2" round hole for the base to fit in, then a rectangular access hole in the bench to be able to remove some foam, insert some 1 1/2x3 angle for backing, and be able to access the nuts to tighten the screws I used to mount it. That's after drilling 6 holes in the angle, and 6 holes in the bench in order to bolt it down. Then needed to make a small plate to cover the hole I made in the bench. Needed to lengthen the 7/16" wrench to get all the way back to the rear bolts, so taped a piece of flat aluminum onto it to make an extension, then put a piece of electrical tape over the box end, pushed the nut into that, and could reach under there and not lose the nut, worked perfect! :)
Now all I need to do is get to use the darn thing!:rolleyes:

Going to have to wait on that Carl. Weather doesn't look to promising . I need to trim up some shrubs but too much rain.

I was able to get all of the grass cut and picked up yesterday - takes about 3 to 3.5 hours with the zero-turn and then using the Garden Tractor with the bagger. I picked one of these up a few weeks ago - love it for taking out heavy grass and weeds and also for trimming the fence lines. Self-propelled and also got the blade attachment to take out small trees up to 3" in diameter. Lynn used it to clear out her flower garden and thought it was awesome.

    PROBABLY! :notsure:
I could have drilled the base hole and just screwed the base into the .080 seat, or enlarged the mounting holes and used toggle bolts. PITB, but the way I did it using the backing plate is probably the strongest way I could have mounted it. I noticed the existing seat base has angle welded underneath where it is mounted, that one is screwed in through the angle for additional strength.
Some boats have the additional port and starboard rear seat bases from the factory, this one didn't.

Now that's a weed whacker Mark!

How goes it Rob, hope you are well also and catching lots of fish!

So if I picture this right you could have got one of those Jon boat clamp on swivel seats and drilled 4 self tapping screws on the side
