Rod knock in 95 2.7, is it junk?

    I wouldn't know where to find those. As far as symptoms, if I stay in low rpms it's nearly on audible. Once up to 2500 it's very clear. The first mechanic have up being paid as he was sure it wasn't worth working on. The second didn't even look. Just listened to a couple second of startup, and grimly shook his head.

    I'm convinced. Is this worth $1,500?
