    Anyone know if just the headlight lens can be replaced or do I need to buy the whole assembly?? I hit a freaking seagull at 65 mph and it cracked my passenger side lens wtf

    Whole assembly.

    The lense is sealed to the housing.

    Search TW for a BHLM writeup and you'll see how it's sealed and the mess of sealant while taking one apart.

    I bought some ebay specials so far so good, changing isn't terrible but have to partially remove the bumper

    You might have spent less money up front, but most of the inexpensive aftermarket headlight assemblies are pretty pathetic in several important areas. First, as you've already heard, they allow condensation to build up and eventually ruin the inside of the housing. Second, the light pattern that they project is generally inferior to OEM. Sure, they may look identical to your originals, but I think you're going to find out that they're not even close in performance or durability.

    Like a few others said, stick with OEM. Better fit, better seal and light output.

    Yea I'm not arguing I know oem is better, hell I work at a Toyota dealership.


    Wasn't trying to sway people the other way but don't think they are a horrible option if your short on cash
