    yep..
Milo, he's 8, and I just picked him up yesterday from ACL surgery. He gets more care and love (and $$$) than anyone else in the family.

Hope Milo has the success with his that my dog did. Toby had to get an artificial (nylon) ligament.
He's 12 and a half now and still very mobile. We actually have to tone his enthusiasm down.

Thanks! We hope so too. He's already bearing some weight on it. They did the TTA method, which is apparently less intrusive and has a quicker recovery.

Good to hear your dog had success with the surgery.

Anybody have any experience with Gunner crates?

    https://gunnerkennels.com/g1intermediate

This site has enlightened me to the "buy once, cry once" philosophy. The crate training is moving like molasses and when she regresses she makes whatever crate I have at the time her bitch. She's gone through several.

And to keep it on-topic, let's see my dog:

Gunner Kennels is the new kid on the block in rotomolded dog crates. The other one is Ruff Tough Kennels and they were the first rotomolded crate. They are both targeted at hunting dog owners, I have the Ruff Tough Intermediate 2 door crate. The Mud River Medium cover fits it perfectly BTW and of course makes it a one door crate with it on but that is fine in the fall and winter. They both have lifetime warranties. Guess this is the only picture I have of my Ruff Tough.

The Gunner is double walled and that is supposedly to help in extreme temperatures. And they claim it is more impact resistant in an accident. The Ruff Tough is heavy as hell so the Gunner being double wall is even heavier. Not something you want to move around from vehicle to house, etc. It is more set it and forget is how those that own them on the hunting forums describe them. If your looking for a solid crate either would be fine I believe. I got mine from Ruff Tough directly in SD. But Cabala's, LLBean, GunDogSupply, LionCountrySupply and even Amazon sell them. They go on sale from time to time. Good luck.

    Thanks!

Its made by a guy on etsy called MIA K9. Similar to the M1-k9 collar that i also tried But this is much better quality. Mil spec cobra metal buckle over the plastic buckles by m1k9 made me switch over.

My pup is just 10 months, 80 pounds, and strong as a bull. I needed a tough collar.

I LOVE this collar! Has a built in handle, the dogs name embroidered on, extra ring for dogtag and at 1.5" wide it's not too big.

There are loads of options and customizing available but the only downside is he is over seas and making it and the shipping takes a few weeks... Worth the wait though.

Hope he gets healed good. My dog hurt her knee joint really bad when she was 10-11. Didnt get surgery but we almost did. Just rested and made her take it easy for a while and she lived till 16 without another problem with it

This is Thor. He was given to us by our neighbors as they had to move and could not take him. He spent the first year of his life outside, guarding goats and was not really walked or given much attention until we got involved. Now he is completely spoiled, as he should be. Exercised and walked at least once a day, is an inside/outside dog, and is one of our kids. It is a miracle we found each other and was meant to be.

My boy Scooter. He's a certified therapy dog. He takes care of me but we also do volunteer work at hospitals and nursing homes. Here he is wearing his military tribute vest.

That was the day he got back from "the procedure" at the vet. I told him we were going to McDonalds. He was pissed for a few days.

I've been looking for something since I lifted my truck. Thinking about getting a folding motorcycle ramp and attaching some sort of mat to it for traction. My 6-yo Lab/Am Bulldog mix can't make the leap into the bed.

Those dog ramps aren't long enough.

    yep..

I built this for Milos surgery because I couldn't find anything long enough. Folds in half. I carpeted it to add grip. He was able to use it nicely after the surgery.
