Word. I'm using it as an excuse to get out. going to explore as much as I can. Get at least a couple hundred miles on the front and of course the 500 on the rear. Really want to test the front locker but after first change I think.

Sup? Got back from Ohio yesterday. Longest drive with the truck yet. Did just fine.

What time is this Monday thing supposed to happen? I am probably a no-go since I work into and out of Monday, but who knows.

 

Went up to north jersey today. Went with my brother ('95 taco) and my jeep friend. Got a healthy dose of wheelin in, went the usual route and up "inhaler hill" which had a lot more large loose rock at the bottom than I remember, we were all slipping a bit but the rest was cake (brother hit his skids a couple times though). then at the top we went right, down a really tight trail that wound up being a dead end.




Went back down and headed to the other hill across from it, went right at the bottom and took the go around that we took in February and managed that hill with lots of slipping on a steep rock face.



At the top of that hill my brother had to go to work so he aired up and headed straight out to the road and me and jeremy headed left back towards the area we started, never been down this trail but turned out to be pretty nice and went almost straight towards where we began, got very tight near the middle but lots of large boulders and a few technical spots that made it a bit more entertaining than taking the wide open trails. about halfway through this trail we came to a downed tree and I took a bad line and landed on my bedside, driver rear tire had absolutely no traction so i was basically hanging on the branch by the bedside, jeremy pulled me off and somehow miraculously there was no damage besides some scratches.




Came out to the open trail, took a break, and headed straight north towards new york (would be a right turn coming out of the first trail), was wide open trails with one spot being fairly technical and steep, managed to get down with no issue but slipped too much going back up the same route. Came to a ton of water and general swampy area at the bottom of the hill and headed back to air up.

Overall was a good day, didnt go to new york as planned, but nbd. we plan on heading back next week to check out some power line trails nearby that look pretty interesting, we were too worn out to try them today.
