Correct, this is not my full time job & that's been known since the beginning.

I reply to PM's, emails, messages as I can -- I am doing that now after building hubs all day.

If you call my phone & I don't answer, simply leave a message -- I will call later in the evening when I am home from work and done packaging orders.

If you'd like to post in my thread "buyer beware" & suggest another person's service then I do not appreciate your business.

It has been known since day 1, page 1 in this thread that I started doing this on the side to help out Tacoma World. This service has snowballed and it's still just me building, packaging, shipping & keeping up with customer service.

Let it be known I am about a week out on orders so if you need them tomorrow then I would recommend going a different route.

Idk what the big deal is.... I ordered hubs from both guys. First I ordered with NJ and had a flawless experience(Got the hub within a week). Second time I found the Alabama guy and figured "maybe since he's closer to where I live ill get it faster" nope....took 3 weeks to get the damm hub. Did I bitch and complain? YUP but did that get the hub to me quicker? NOPE. People have lives. I messaged him anyway I could with no response. Called any number i could, no answer. Turns out the dude was sick with the flu and backed up 2 weeks.

Now from watching both threads a lot i can say that NJ has a faster turn around rate than the Alabama guy most of the time, but I'm not here to down other people.

They both provide a service that is not needed and they both do it well!

If you don't like it take your truck to a shop and let them charge you and arm and leg to press out the old bearing.

 

My apologies to Jerseyhub. Didn't mean to bash him. I jumped the gun when we all noticed that he wasn't responding to emails. He refunded me in full which I didnt expect. Did say I was willing to give him more time. Im a fair person...just thought a timely response was appropriate especially when people are in situations where the replacement is needed in a hurry.

 

He's a one man show from what I understand, if he stopped to responded to every email and PM he wouldn't get work done. I understand it's frustrating feeling like there is no communication. I've been in that boat and I feel you. There is a line that can be crossed by the vendor though. If you don't hear back after 2-3 weeks then yes you're entitled to be pissed but I'd give it at least a week even though that is much longer than dealing with a large company like Amazon who can respond in a moment's notice.
But you can't compare this to a big corporation like Amazon. Now days everything happens in an instant and it's nice so we get spoiled to that and think it's how everything works.

 

That's funny, Bamatoy is the worst guy I've had the displeasure to deal with on TW. Full of lies and excuses, prints shipping labels to create the appearance it's shipped, etc. NJ636 will come through.

 

Did our packages ship on Tuesday? I have not received a tracking number or any notification from you yet. Has anyone else? I'm being patient cause he has a reputation for pulling throug.

 

Guys relax, I am working on & shipping orders daily.

Honestly i've been so consumed with orders through the forums and the website that I come home from work and go straight to printing labels and boxing orders.

I really don't have time during the day to come on the forum, I will respond to emails in the afternoon -- texts are quicker -- phone calls during the day I don't answer because I don't keep my phone on me at work.

If your wheel bearing craps out today, bring it to a shop -- I am not Amazon or Rock Auto by any means. I understand the majority of you don't order a hub as preventative maintenance item & order when they start to make noise.

I am trying to keep up but it doesn't work that well when I get more orders per day than I build per day.

I apologize for not responding so quickly on the forum or via email but be assured that I am working each day to fulfill orders.

There is not one person on this forum that can say I ever screwed them on a sale.

I feel that some people assume that vendors or people who offer parts/help here operate as normal businesses. Most do not at all. It is usually 1 or 2 guys who do this on their off time after their 9-5 job.

I see this all the time in the Brute Force Fab thread. "Wheres my order?" "He hasn't responded" "Im contacting PayPal for a refund"

I know my order will be shipped eventually, not worried about it. If you ordered these because you can't drive your truck currently and need back on the road, go to a parts store. Don't wait that long. I understand that somethings come up and shit happens, but these guys are constantly busy and working. Would you rather them build your parts on spend their down time on here re assuring that they're trying?

 

I ordered on 5/24 and haven't heard anything, can I get an update on the status of my order?
