Had anyone had any experience with this kit? Really like it, but not sure if it will look stupid with 265/70/16's.

Yea the ugly baby. They may or may not have cabinets. They usually have flooring real cheap with a warranty. It's a neat place worth checking out

I will have to run down there and check it out. We're getting a local guy to make new cabinet doors for us and we signed a contract today for some hardwood flooring. Still need to find counter tops and a good source for aluminum fence panels (basically what they use around most swimming pools). Those are the only big ticket items we need to track down. Everything else is small stuff that we will probably just get at Lowe's, 84 Lumber and so on. I try to buy from locals all I can and thus far they have beat all the big box stores. The guy making my cabinet doors only uses Kentucky wood, that's pretty cool if you ask me.

    So
Toyota couldn't find my clunking noise at first but since I made such a fuss for them by calling corporate before I took the truck in, they just replaced everything on my front suspension and both arms on both sides.... and then they found it... my LCA on the right was off of alignment and was hitting my skid plate.

    So
Now I have brand new everything up front and no more clunk hahaha

Those of you who live in Central Kentucly and wish to do something special for Memorial Day, may I suggest a day trip to the Civil War battlefield @ Perryville. We spent about 4 hours there today. Much of the time was spent on a walking tour of the battlefield itself, with a bit of time in the museum. In particular, I spent the most time at the sites where Union and Confederate artillery batteries fired on the various battle lines. As an old ARMY artilleryman, this has a special interest for me.

Chills literally ran up my spine when we stood at the site where a Union field hospital (in an old barn) took a direct hit from Confederate artillery, causing a massive fire which killed over 150 men.

At any rate, take the time to think about the thousands of Americans who gave the last full measure of their devotion to their country so we can live as a free people. This is THEIR weekend.

I will add to that, if your local to a Veteran cemetery... Take the time to stop. Walk around and READ the headstones. It's amazing how much sacrafice and courage is born and breed here in Kentucky. If your not near one pull up Google and look up a Veteran memorial in your hometown, take your kids and make it a tradition. Pick a name and research one of the fallen, there is a very informative and well designed website - http://thefallen.militarytimes.com - that gives you all kinds of information about everyone that didn't make it home from the GWOT. At the Army Depot here in Richmond we have a very nice memorial to all the KIA from Kentucky during Iraq/Afghanistan. I take the time to walk it during my break sometimes and am always immediately humbled. Seeing a brother in arms be loaded onto a Blackhawk in the middle of nowhere thousands of miles from home, knowing that his family was peacefully sleeping and had no idea of the chaos their loved one just experienced in his last seconds of life was the worst feeling I have ever experienced. Remember those families and remember their brothers that live with the memories of those events.

I hesitated to "like" the post. I do NOT "like" WHY the post is a simple fact of life, but I LOVE the spirit in which it was posted. From the beginning of US history, thousands upon thousands of brave young men and women have selflessly laid down their lives so the rest of us can continue to enjoy ours.

One of the most powerful memories of my youth was when I was in the 6th grade...and attending a Catholic Grade School. I was also an alter boy. I served at a funeral mass for a young man who was killed in Vietnam. It was my first experience with a funeral with full military honors. That is something EVERY American should experience.

Take 10 minutes out of your life. Go to a cemetery this weekend. Just take a look around and soak in all the flags you'll see on the graves of vets. Not all gave their lives directly on the field of battle. But many gave up their opportunity for a "normal life" without ever questioning why. Be thankful for what they did.

Dang, good deal for sure. Doesn't the 3" have more reliability issues? Or am I imagining that?

Well, I'm not sure about reliability issues. I'd say the longer they get the more unreliable lol. Just thought it was a nice change up to find on the East coast. @mwc273 are you set on +2 or you want a race-limo??

from the people i have talked to with baja kits brenthel and a few others

when you try to put a 3.5 coil on our trucks bad things happen real quick
our trucks arent heavy enough or large enough in general to get the proper results out of that spring.
I have seen dudes run as large as 3.0 springs and even then ran into a large amount of problems and ended up going to 2.5's instead

the 3.0 and larger shocks are usually only used on a tundra or larger sized truck
and i have read and heard complaints about guys not being able to drive the +3 LT kits on the road anymore because they didnt fit in their lanes haha
