Considering installing a levelling kit on my truck. Not looking at getting bigger tires, mostly just going for the higher stance and wondering what the best option would be and how it might look. Im running 245/75/16 tires on Procomp 7032 wheels.

piggybacking off this thread rather than starting a new one. I'm also looking at leveling my truck with MaxTrac strut spacers. What would be the negatives of doing this for offroading purposes? I plan on lifting it in the next year or two but want a temporary solution to my sagging front end b/c I have a steel bumper... Thanks and sorry for the piggy back...

The negative of a top strut spacer is that unless you extend your bump stops, you will be using your shock as a bump stop. This isn't typically a problem on road, but off road is where it may happen.

1" lift from 3rd gen suspension, 265/75/16 ATs
Look into 3rd gen suspension, cheap and you should get around 1" of lift on a DC 4x4, maybe a hair more on AC. With stock leafs and especially 245/75/16s it may be a great way to go.

This is mine with 265/75/16s. Got about 1 1/8" lift up front, rear is recall 4 leaf pack. After about 5 months of driving, front did not sag, but the leafs did a little. After installation I had about 1" rake, 5 months later about 3/4" rake which visually looks level.
