You need to set up custom PIDs. Do a search on the forum on how to set up the trans temps for the torque app. There's a thread going on it.

This weekend im moving across town and borrowing a 16ft flat bed trailer from my work. The only heavy stuff will be a couch, love seat, upright dresser, and a mattress. Will the little truck handle it ok?

 You should be under 3500#. Seems as though you should be less than 3500# unless you're moving a lot of books.

Anyone tow a 6x12 uhaul fully loaded with furniture?
    How did it handle.

I've never towed with a 4 banger before.

That UHaul trailer is 1,920# empty, that's a heavy SOB. Actually all the UHaul trailers are heavy tanks, which I presume is to survive customer abuse.
Fully loaded, you may wind up at or near 3,500# which I believe is the 4cyl tow limit. It does have automatic surge brakes which will help, just keep the speeds down.

The documents say 690lbs but with gear probably more like 800lbs. It's slow me and T2 VW guys all convoy up when ascending grades. But on flat ground she'll run 90mph in 5th gear.
