The hail been playing hell with a lot folks this Spring. If I end up replacing this roof before my next move - I'm going to look at investing in metal.

Back from Campin. Went well. On the way out we saw an older couple riden quads Shorts, tank tops, flip flops. We were going up the trail, they were coming down, she hits a hole and puts the quad over on its side and bounces her head off a rock. Don't know how she didn't bust her noggin open. Hope she had a bottle pf percocets at home.
We didn't see anyone else the rest of the day, or today till we got out to the big road. That was niiiice.
So, the CVT RTT. How did it work? Well, Ive got the summit, and its got that fancy shmancy piece of shit telescoping later which we managed to break before we even had the tent fully set up.
Then, the big thing is you can fold these up with your bedding still in it, right? Thats the big thing. Fold it out and your ready to go. Fold it up and your off. Well, I guess you can leave your bedding in this expensive piece of shit if your bedding consist of the shitty 2 inch foam mattress that came with it and nothing else. After trying to fold it up, and having to open it back up to remove shit 3 times I figured out it really doesn't hold your bedding in it.
Other than those 2 things the tent was great, but Im not so sure I would have bought it had I known...................
Ive also got to call CVT and see about getting the regular ladder.

Wow. I've been looking at the RTT's for a while and you've got some valuable personal experience there. What to they offer other than the telescoping ladders and how did yours fail?

If I was to step up to a larger truck again I think I would try a Tundra access cab but not sure. I love my truck though not enough to marry it .. lol . I would like a bit more power to tow up in Maine and hills but it does ok for it self .
