Weekly Photography Challenge Thread

Many years ago I lived on the Olympic side of Puget Sound for a bit more than 2 years. Not sure ever did see Canada from there between the rain and fog LOL. But behind you is one of the most beautiful places in the world IMO. Caught my first steelhead on the Dungeness River pretty close to Sequim. Nice picture and thanks for the memories!

Staying on Maui this time. Just got back from Hana a couple hours ago

 

Cool! Never been to Maui, I always go to the big island and Kauai

 

LOL Taking off work on Friday was going to head to Duluth to see the Blue Angels and then to Silver Bay to a friend that I hunt grouse with on the North Shore. Of course would have to stop at Betty's. If things stay on track however will be making a road trip to pick up a year and a half old Toller instead.

 

Ugh I miss the Northland...

I just like taking pictures of pretty things.

 

My true inspiration are my parents both liking photography enough to peak my interest but the reason I take photos is to capture what I see on a day to day basis. My entry for this week

 

Here's my entry. I like taking pictures because I like capturing moments, people, and I guess time, in general. Had the chance to take some pictures of this cute kid for his first birthday!

Echinoderms are pretty awesome! also, fun fact, they prefer carrots and lettuce over algae.
