Powder Coating

    I would encourage all of you to look into doing your own powder coating. I use a dual voltage set up I got from Eastwood. Got my oven for free off of Craigslist from a guy doing a remodel.
    If you follow directions it's hard to mess up.
    Here are some pics of stuff I've powder coated. Parts from a 1950 Willys I'm restoring:

    (I've never tried to powder coat my second gen grille)!

    I do my own. Did a lot of parts on my Porsche 964. Just got my Tacoma and have a lot of plans. I love these trucks.

    What kind of ovens are you guys using? I'm assuming electric. I don't have room in the shop for a full sized stove.

    I use a full size standard kitchen oven ... picked my first one up on Craigslist for 50 bucks and recently replaced it when the wife wanted a new one. Electric is the way to go.

    Hahahaha. She got a new one, I took her old one! You cannot cook with an oven you powder coat with. Very bad idea. Lol
