Roof Rack

I just installed my roof rack last week and I noticed something. Is it just me or is this rail bent?

Yeah something is def wrong here. These are the best side profiles I have of mine. But the rails should not be bent like that. it should be almost perfect contour

 

Where did you purchase? Are they true OEM?

 

In my thread, (Smokey Bear) i have a few picts with views of the roof rack, I will try to get a better shot later if the rain stops and I remember.

 

Anyone interested in getting rid of their roof drip moldings? Looking for some

I want to get the OEM roofrack over some of the aftermarket ones.

 

Mine are like this on my 2015. It's preloaded arch to keep it from deforming under load, similar to a leaf spring.

It would be hard to believe that the parts I received were not OEM. As far as the preloaded arch goes, I can totally see why they would be arched but not an evenly distributed arch. Mine appears to be deformed. I was just hoping to see some other pictures to strengthen my argument. I looked at another Tacoma in a parking lot the other day (I know it's wierd) and noticed the same deformity.
