@ewxlt66 Do you know if anyone has mounted a 60 inch hi-lift jack on the solo high clearance? I've seen a couple of pics with hi lifts mounted, but they all look to be the 48 inch. Just curious if they will fit both, or if it is limited to the 48. I noticed on wilco's website that they only listed the 48inch under the accessories. Any input/insight would be appreciated!

It will "fit" but you may have trouble opening it all the way. Offset it more to driver's side and it may be in the next lane.

@Unchained 5150 do you mind posting a picture like this one except with the top of the tire and the back window/cab in it?

Im trying to get an idea of how high it is going to be in relation to the back window of my cab high camper shell.

In my search, i was able to come across this pic, but its with the standard solo and on an aftermarket bumper.. from comparing your pic and this one it seems the tire will be higher on the high clearance w/ the stock bumper

If you could post a pic i would greatly appreciate it! The suspense is killing me and theres a three week lead time before mine will be shipped out.

    Thanks in advance!

I've been lurking for a LONG time. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on this, but are you able to remove the hitchgate solo easily with just one person? I primarily just want it on for the weekend adventures and not on my daily commute.

If you can change a tire by yourself, you are overqualified to install/uninstall this.

    It only weighs 56lbs.

1: Remove lugs and tire, put in garage.
2: Remove hitch pin, don't lose it.
3: Loosen wedge lock bolt with socket and extension.
4: Put Hitchgate Solo in garage.

Thanks @ewxlt66! That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm going to have to make some over-the-top shelving display for this thing in my garage, don't want it getting scratched

    None....YET!!
Quick question, what exact model is the hitchgate on the new tacoma? It looks like its offset, or is it just the angle?

    Thanks!

Yup! Thats the Solo High Clearance.

It's just the angle of the photo. The tire will sit center of your tailgate and swings out to the passenger side
