Sure, not that type but I don't judge. You like what you like. Just not every day I see dudes broing down over a similar taste in porn.

Your thread OP, you steer the ship.

But honestly i never understood why one would go through the hassle of a motor swap only to swap in the 4.7L ancient v8.... so many better toyota options now that make way more power (4.6L comes to mind)

Also..... some lockers would of been money much better spent.... second video a stock truck with a locker in the rear could of probably crawled up that.

Either way great job OP, i really do applaud the swap thats bad ass.

So why haven't you done it? Yes the 4.6 and 5.7 makes great power over the 4.7 but how reliable are they?

My truck is locked in the rear and I've crawled up the hill many times I was just playing with it

The 4.7 is legendary for being bullet proof but that 5.7 is pretty damn rock solid too. I've never owned the 4.6

4.6 is the same engine as the 5.7 just with a lesser stroke. its a SOLID motor.

again, i guess if you are going to go through the hassle, may as well go big, so 5.7 gets my vote, but be prepared to do some axle upgrades.

I did go big compared to the 2.7 2tr the 2uz smashes it all day even at night too. If I had access to a 5.7 at the time I got the 4.7 I would've done it. I know what you're saying but you don't know where I'm from and waiting for one to pop up is rare and believe me I will do one soon.
