Hi all, hoping to shed some light on this. I get a suspension creak or groan ONLY when moving the vehicle shifter from P to R or D, at no other time does it creak. I keep my foot on the brake, the harder I press the brake, the less noise. But if I shift with the e-brake set only and not the regular brakes, no noise. I was told by the dealer it is normal suspension preload and there's nothing to fix it. So is that true, or is there something I need to grease up?

My brakes and suspension are perfectly silent at all other times, only the initial move to D or R does this occur.

My old '14 and both my current '17s do it so I would surmise it's normal. If you ever roll around and really listen hard, there is a shitload of noise from the suspension. Any degree of dust / dirt just exacerbates it.

Ok, thanks for the info. It just really made me think what the crap, this sucker is brand new, hasn't seen dirt yet! Just want to make sure I don't have any issues on my sweet ride, lol. I'm a little jumpy after all the issues I had on my taco I traded. I guess I'm a little noise sensitive now.
