    Was wondering if anyone can tell me if my 2008 toyota tacoma v6 4x4 is factory wired for trailer brakes, it does not have a towing package but was told that the haarnessd is already there. thanks

    Yes. I installed an own trailer hitch and wire harness on my 2006. Wiring was in place.

    Ok, I have everything in place at rear of vehicle and was asking about harness under dash, can I just plug into harness and brake controller?

    I am not sure about the brake controller. I only installed the flat 4 for my boat to connect to.
