285/70 17 spare under bed.

Just cut the "ears" off spare carrier under the bed .Hope to fit my 285/70 17 under there . Has anyone done this ? I thought I read it somewhere on here but can not find it thru the search function.

 

Your 285 should fit under there.

I bent my ears and was able to fit a 285/75/16 no problem. Just have to pull it towards the back of the truck as I'm winding it up

the search function is almost useless, you're better off just searching in google and putting tacomaworld at the end of it

 

OH I'm still getting a swing-out of some kind. They are soooo much cooler.
