Front end creak after sitting

    ive searched for awhile now but can't find anything that fits my exact problem. I have an awful front end creaking sound ONLY during the first movement and turn of my truck after it sits all night. It sounds like it's coming from both sides but nothing seems loose.

    A brief history of my truck, all new moog UCA and LCA bushing, new moog outer tie rods, new moog LCA ball joints and on a 5100 lift set at 1.75. Nothing creaked or squeaked till I changed the bushings and lower ball joints. I also used white lithium grease on the bushing bolts and alignment cams.

    Are your new bushings polyurethane? They can be a little noisy even lubed.

    any of your BJs have zirk fittings? if so top them off, if not try hitting some spots with wd40 and see if you can track down the culprit

    When you installed all this stuff, did you torque the fasteners with the suspension hanging or on the ground?

    Nope just the standard rubber bushings and none of my BJ have zerk fittings. I'll try some WD40 but what gets me is that it's only during the first movement of the truck

    I torqued everything while it was on the ground. Should I have done it while hanging?

    No, final torque should be done on the ground, I would go back and loosen the suspect components up and then re-torque to spec.

    Could be, it seemed to be worse this morning after yesterday's rain. The only thing i think it would be is either sway bar bushings or UBJ. Maybe I'll take my sway bar out and see if it goes away.

    Changed oil yesterday so I figured while I was under there I'll torque my LCA bolts to spec. The all moved maybe half to 3/4 of a turn in but nothing major. This also seemed to make things worse as the clunk is now louder. :confused:

    Okay so I've figured out my problem but I don't know how to fix it. The drivers side rear bushing on the LCA is shifting around, this is the same reason why I replaced the bushings in the first place. These bushings have less than 10,000 miles on them and Everything has been torqued to spec. Help.

    a lot of mixed reviews on the moog stuff for these tacomas, not saying its all junk just that seems a lot of the moog stuff for the tacoma has given people issues...

    maybe see if Napa offers an oem style part you can have pressed it there? Or one of the many companies that offer a poly bushing maybe like white line or energy suspension?

    Mine is not even close to that bad and I don't know if it's the bushing moving inside the arm itself or the whole arm moving in between the two mounting points.

    Got my lower control arm bushings welded to the arms themselves and it didn't help. I know it's something to do with the bushings but I'm at my wits end.
