Howdy everyone I have a 14 Tacoma with a 4 in lift and just replaced cv axel shafts because both boots were torn badly, think I'm needing to put a front diff drop kit so I'm not changing cv axels once a year or whatever. Any thoughts opinion on which kit? And how hard it is to install?

If you're at 4" without a drop bracket style lift, lower it to 3" to help prevent the CV issues. On an 05+ a 1" diff drop doesn't actually drop the diff, just rotates it slightly and makes the mount arms more susceptible to being hit and helps CV angles about 1 degree. Not worth it. Just lift the truck 'right' and there won't be issues.

I have a diff drop and a 3" lift and my inner boots are rubbing so a diff drop is kinda pointless... I ordered high angle inner boots, I'll keep you posted, see if that helps any.

I had the toytec diff drop on mine for about a month. didn't really notice a difference only thing it did was piss me off because then you have to leave your oe skid plate off or modify it. not worth.
