Just frustrating because I've got tires sitting in the basement waiting for rims to come in stock....

Ah well spare should be close to the same size

I can't seem to get a good swr at all on my CB. Nothing I do seems to change it. I checked the resistance to ground a while ago and if I remember correctly I think it was .4 ohms. I had the plastic washer on the bottom and thought that was the issue but recently installed that correctly but I'm still not getting good readings. Is my radio toast or do you think I have a ground issue? Is a grounding strap something I could find a HD or Lowes?

2ft Firestone mounted on the hood hinge. Uniden 520, 9ft cable.

You could easily make a grounding strap yourself, with just a short piece of primary wire, and a couple ring terminals. Just sand down the paint between the ring and metal, and use a short self taping screw.

That's what was happening to me too with the 2 foot. Threw a 3 foot and boom, swr of like 1.5 on the high end/channel 40.

3 foot worked well for me too, even after rolling over. Much better than the old 4 foot on the tailgate.

Well I forgot I had the tundra brakes and my spare is a 15" rim. I forgot about it until I had my truck on the hi-lift and the wheel off. So I put it back together and went inside to consider what I was gonna do. Borrow a 17" spare from my buddy but I didn't know if I would rub anything. Basically I was fucked, but then I thought what about swapping a rear 16" to fit the tundra brake, and throw the 15" spare on the rear. Worked perfect for now, it may be a little low on air. But I'm gonna try and get a used 265 for my 16" tomorrow.
