I am looking for a shop in the Phoenix area (I am in East Mesa) to install some Bilstein 5100's up front. I am gonna run 255/85R16 tires on the stock wheels. I only want to go up an inch or possibly level with the rear. Smitty99 gave me a couple of recommendation, which is much appreciated. I am looking for additional recommendations and opinions on shops here in the valley.

I am not looking to go crazy with this truck like I did my last Tacoma. Here is a pic of my last Tacoma which had a ton of mods not seen in the photos, including a Ford 9" rear end with ARB lockers front and rear....and a bunch of other stuff.

Last build was in Cali. By various shops, but a lot of the work was done by Atomic Motorsports

You can usually get some people to help out and get the install done fairly quick if you offer beer and pizza.

Did you buy your last truck built or build it yourself ? I recognize it from some old TTORA pics

Holy shit, haven't heard of Atomic for ages. They used to make some real fucked up work, but I heard years later that it improved some.

That's for the blast to the past!

I'm surprised that no one mentioned SDHQ Off Road located off of Elliot Rd in Gilbert yet. Another shop that for considerations is the 4WheelParts located off of Broadway & Country Club in Mesa. If you want to go further outside of Mesa, 4WheelParts located in Phoenix off of 7th Street or Total Auto Pros located at N. 16th Street. Plus Sierra Expeditions mentioned in an earlier post in Mesa. These are the ones I know of after upgrading to my new 4x4 Taco. I'm sure there are more but this would get you started.

I was on TTORA. I built the truck with the help of my brother and some shops in San Diego.

I picked up some TRD Pro wheels today and found a great deal on some Cooper ST MAXX in 255/75r17. I was gonna go with 255/80r17, but couldn't pass up on the deal for these tires....$121 each due them being in stock at the tire shop for a couple years. A 32" tire instead of a 33" tire. I am only gonna bring the front up about 1", so I think this 32 will be a good fit. I ended up just calling 4 Wheel Parts who is gonna do the install on the Bilstein 5100's on Tuesday.

IMG_0265.jpg IMG_0264.jpg IMG_0262.jpg IMG_0263.jpg Here are a couple pics of the truck with the new wheels and tires. No rub at stock height. I turned and stuffed the wheel, no rub. Tuesday the front end will be lifted about 1" with 5100's.
