New boost options coming available should push the 3.5 3rd gen motor an added 135 to 150 hp.. Paired with gears, should make for a quick and efficient truck... Now if only you didn't have to spend a ton of money to get there.

I pulled the pump and Im going to have it checked. When I reinstall I will re-lube it all again. Its always been able to pull good suction within a few seconds and now there's nothing. If they tell me its good, then Im really stumped. There are no noticeable broken pipes but my sand filter is weeping and looks like hell

Yes, marriage is on Halloween. We started dating 16 years ago. It's still a good reason to have some drinks and play a game of hide the pickle.

They can be a lot of fun!

2nd vrs 3rd gen, again?

I need an awning. Truck works as a shade for only so long.
Is there such as thing as a '3 second set-up awning' that doesn't need poles?
Can one be attached to am OEM roof rack or do I need a fancy rack/basket?

Check out arq4wd. They are based out of Mexico, but design and build some awesome non pole awnings. Seem sturdy too, just hesitant because of rain and snow. For shade, they are perfect.

Wow those are nice! Either the 90 or the 270.
Can seem to find their web site though, just facebook and IG.
I'll need a roof rack and or bed rack.

Or I can redneck it and run a patio umbrella in the bed :)

 hey now... That's what we take out shooting. Lol. Shooting table with patio umbrella right through the middle.

I talked to arq on IG, and I got priced 126 shipped for the 90! I have pics they sent me of the mounting system and everything too if you're interested. I still may pull the trigger. One of those on one side, and a poll version on the other. For that price... Why not.

Dig Prescott. Was contemplating a move when my lease is up... but seems I've fallen prey to a Sugar Momma, and that could end up being the new digs!

Same as it was with the 32.5's before regearing, so I picked up a about 1.5MPG... maybe more if I'd slow down! At 2500 RPM on a flat surface, I'm doing 73MPH at 14.6MPG. With that said, put the loaded trailer on it, head north to MOAB and back, 10.5MPG was my average... but again, I was able to drive as fast as I wanted... generally 80 - 83MPH.

Not only is he gorgeous, but he got game as well!!!!

I would be into that for sure!!!

I could use me some tint as well!!!
It's not what your looking for, but I don't think my ARB is going to fit on the landcruiser with the RTT, so I may have to let it go!

I spun the impeller one time! Motor ran fine, but the impeller stripped and just sat there... no water moving.

The umbrella thing would work fine sitting in the bed plus it'd be cheap.

$126 is way better than I thought it'd be! Would love to see some mount pic's if you have them. Can it be mounted to am OEM rack rail? I could prob find an OEM rack cheaper than an aftermarket. I did PM them on FB. Any idea what the 270 would cost?

@2ndGenJonny Has Brandon made any roof racks for 3rd gens yet? Approx cost?

no idea on the cost for the 270.

You'll need some sort of rack and then a simple angled mount to attach it.

    IMG_20170601_131019_040.jpg

Threaded studs go through the entire thing. Simple and nice design. I have more detailed pictures too.

This got my interest so I did a bit of googling. Here's a place that you can buy them but more like $250ish:

    http://aidenjamescustoms.com/t/awnings

I don't have a rack or anything though (yet) so it's just tarps and bungee cords for shade if I need it.

EDIT: Found a thread about them over on overlandbound:

    *****************/forums/threads/arq4wd-270-awning.5927/

Jesus Christ I think I could manage better welds on those brackets and I've never touched a welder in my life...! o_O

Also, overlandbound does NOT want people linking to their threads? Every time I tried to copy/paste it did some crazy code instead. That's weird...

Absolutely, it just depends on features really. Give us about 2-3 weeks and ill set you up an appointment to discuss. The shop is growing, media blast is up and the oven goes in just as soon as the expansion is done.

Big things for Avid Off-road & Matador customs happening. Exotek LLC is finally kicking off after about 6 months of setbacks.

Soon guys, youll have more options available and awesome stuff we can bring to you.
