So... I'm not a big Ridgeline fan. But I would take this one... :crapstorm:

Edit: I just talked to the guys that were hauling this rig. They're headed to MX for the Baja 500!

Ummm... I'M IN! Mod that sucker Off Road and add power for further magnetic distance(travel). Heck yes.

Edit: video is like 4 min long, but worth it.

Awesome, was really nice meeting you Ryan, and hope everything met your expectations! Love that truck BTW, Black is the nicest color ever as long as its clean, matches my Camaro!

I had a gaggle of trucks here yesterday, had 2 more come, its like a Tacoma dealership here!

BTW a couple of tips if you guys are going to do the HC rear, first off use a 4.5" angle grinder with a cutoff blade (the larger blades work as a guide so you can make a laser straight cut) , make your cut lines with tape and I believe its 16.5" down from the bed liner to the cutting point which is slightly below the tailight, it may take several attempts to get a straight line since you are working on a contoured surface. Once tape it layed down eyeball it to see if it lays straight, if not repeat!

I do those things by myself, its quite a pain since it weighs more than I do, but I manage. Also like said its a good idea to have extra clips, if not you can just pull the inner fender and release the clips from the backside with some needle nose pliers and lots of patience without breaking them and they will stay on the flare itself.

Here is a shot of the tape line for reference.IMG_3865.jpg

    Awesome! happy to hear that.

Feel free to shoot me a message about the bike. We have quite a few great options available.

I might have to message you about a little work on the personal vehicle

Nice FJ! I dig that blue color too.
But absolutely, I can do whatever you need on the rig, and I can assure you it will be done properly.
I'll PM you my cell and if you need anything or have questions just hit me up anytime!
Plus I'm 5 minutes away from your shop, and yeah I borrowed a buddies dual squadron Pro for a night race since my Cyclops was on the Fritz and those things pretty much shoot lightning bolts, I had to turn one off in the tight sections because I was almost snowblind, haha!

That first pic has a great backdrop, looks like the cover of a magazine!! Nice.

    Bailey,
Jason (Speed Freek) is THE DUDE when it comes to repairs or mods to our Toyota products!
He is maintaining my 2010 Tacoma for my monthly expeditions into Baja researching for a new road guide and map, sponsored by Baja Bound Insurance. I leave for Trip #5 tomorrow (want to get past Ensenada/ San Felipe before the Baja 500 starts)! All 4 previous 2017 research trips (and my other Baja trips) are posted here on TW (and Baja Nomad) in the Trip Reports forum: https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/trip-reports.180/

Anyone in the market for an FJ? I have a neighbor wanting to sell his. Stock, don't know any details (i.e., mileage, year, etc.). I only know the guy is a neat freak and doesn't turn wrenches, so its your typical stock owned and cared for vehicle. He is listing for around $19,500 with a little wiggle room. If interested let me know b/c he isn't going to put on CL until I've asked on here. If any OC guys are in this thread, feel free to share in your local BS thread.

Who/ where is the information on the Big Bear trip coming up? I'm game for that if the schedule allows it.

Is this the 2wd thread meet? I may not be allowed...

2wd meet up thread. You can get a special guest appearance invitation since you're not one of those "why buy a 2wd truck" kinda people

:bananadance: I'll just be for recovery reassurance for the "hold my beer" moments.

Unless @erice is joining and wants to hit that trail!

Anyone selling their 1st gen 4WD 5 speed Taco for sale around here by any chance. I got a friend looking for one, I guess I managed to get him to join the Yota family. A T100 with the 3.4, 4WD, and 5 speed is also in his interest as well.

The most time consuming was ducking around witht the fenders and those. Chicken feet. Aside from that its a 3 beer job. 90 mins.
