Hi. My name is Jerry Moore form the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area. I have 2 Corvair Corsa's...
One is a 66 Corsa turbocharged 180 horse convertible. One of 68 factory turbocharged convertible's known to exist, The other is a 65 Corsa 140 horse convertible. They are both show quality cars and run like the day they were made.
I'm 66 years old and an 8 year US NAVY veteran where I done 3 tours on an aircraft carrier in the Tonkin Gulf Vietmam. A member of what was jokingly called the Tonkin Gulf yaught Club. My Son is an officer in the NAVY on a Nuclear Submarine, which brings me to how I got a Toyota Tacoma. Myson bought a 2013 regular cab 4 wheel drive. A basic 4 cylinder 5 speed. It does have the fancy 6 bolt wheels and factory fog lights. Being on a submarine he never put many miles on it. The little truck has a tad over 21,000 miles. He got it in his head he wanted something a little sportier. He bought a 2017 Subaru WRX. Ask me if I would be interested in buying his Tocoma?
Made me a good deal on it since it was paid off. I sold my 2006 Dodge ram 1500 fully loaded quad cab truck and my 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer since I didn't need big trucks anymore. I have a fog light question if someone would please tell me where to post it. Thanks for your time Jerry.

I received an email to click on. It showed me the main fuse and relay box under the hood. Has a light blue relay with a caption that read fog light relay. It was on the right side of the box before the big relay towards the engine. That spot on my box is blank. Has no relay or wiring to put one in. I'm thinking it might be inside the truck somewhere because there is no writing under the fuse/relay box under the hood that says FOG.

Are you trying to add fog lights to the truck?

HI. I was looking for the fog light relay. I had my wife turn the fog lights on and off. I heard a relay clicking. It is held to the wiring harness behind the battery by zippy ties. It has 4 slots. 1 has 3 red wires going to it. A fat red one, and 2 thin red wires. Has a single red wire across from it. They are hot all the time, even with the lights off. But when I turn the key off, they are no longer hot. Has 2 blue wires running to the fog lights. And last it has a grey wire with a red wire that is going to the one with the 3 wires I mentioned. If I ground the grey wire with a test light, the fog lights come on. I traced the grey wire, the fat red wire and a small red wire into the cab. They are going down behind the left kick panel. I want to wire them so I can turn them on with out the low beam head lights on. It started to rain really hard so I stopped. I wanted to pull that left kick panel off and see where they go from there. I will only use them as day time driving lights, never with the high beams on. I would like to use the factory fog light switch and not have to install another type. I did also notice the truck has delay wipers which I think is unusual for a base cab truck.

NO mine is black. Even though fog lights were listed on the window sticker, I'm starting to think they were dealer installed. Not factory. All the post I've looked at on this website show a blue relay in the fuse/relay box under the hood. Not mine. Don't get me wrong, it is a very clean job. Like a dealer did it.

Well thanks to every post I could find on this website, I got my fog lights doing what I wanted them to do. That is being able to turn them on when I want to without having to turn on the head lightsl. I removed the left side kick panel and seen where they were wired into. Confirmed my original opinion. They were for sure dealer installed. Found a green wire and a orange wire with a black tracer tied into 2 wires at a junction box. After checking and some study I found out the green wire was the wire that got power with the low beam headlights on. The orange wire with the black tracer went to ground.. I found a pretty heavy white wire with a red tracer that would get power with the key on. I spliced into it with a 5 amp inline fuse. .Figured it should not take more then 5 amps to trip a relay. Next I put the orange wire with a black tracer to ground. Turned on the key and hit the fog light switch. On came the fog lights and the little green light lit up on the switch. Left the fog light switch in the on position and turned off the key. The fog lights went off as well as the little green light on the switch. Tested all the lights, low beam, high beam, parking lights, DRL lights, turn signals, brake lights. All still work. Zippy tied all the wires up like they were behind the kick panel and called it done. Thank you all for all the post I got to read to see how fog lights were wired.
Next I want to buy a cruise control kit. After testing it, it is not pre-wired. It does have the plug hanging for the clutch switch. I checked it since I had my test equipment out anyway. The clutch switch is showing 12 volts with the key on. Now to buy a cruise control kit.
