wiring is a bitch, but once it's done you feel smart lmao or at least I do.

    - Wow, it's working and there aren't any fires. Guess that worked out.

    Very true.

That is why I want to get a Bussman system, so that there is just one group of wires going to my switches instead of all the ones going there now... would also make it easier to hook up the compressor and all that as well and to clean up the wiring mess under the hood that I have.

One is mounted in the truck... I just don't want to have to use it on my truck...

You're about 5 steps away until you get a fire suppression system installed.

    Alright.

Needing some help with some electrical stuff here. I am going to be trying to clean up all the wiring and everything that I have going on pretty soon so that hooking up the ARB Compressor and locker is easier along with some more lighting in the long run.

My current lighting that I have:
    Roof Light Bar
    Ditch Lights
    Rock Lights next week
So three things that use relays and switches

Right now for the wiring I have:
Blue Sea System 12 Fuse Block
    80Amp Breaker
    Pelfreybilt Mount
Iggy Corp 6 Switch Panel in the Center Console
TacomaPros Switch Backs for 6 Switches

I want to clean up everything so that instead of each individual wiring harness having to go to the switches, it is just one group of wiring going to the switch backs to hook up.

    Options right now:
Bussman RTMR Setup from either TacomaPros or IggyCorp with an 80amp Breaker - This would work, but only gives me 5 relays to be able to use, so one switch would not be on its on. I also don't really know how it works with none relayed accessories.
The other issue with this is since I have the three current switches then add the Compressor switch and rear locker switch... that uses up all the bussman relays. So when and if I do a front locker or a light on the back of the truck eventually, I would have to figure out how to wire that up.

    Switch Pro
This would give me 8 things that I would be able to hook into it to be able to have it on a switch. So gives me everything really plus some room to grow if needed.
Can get the ARB Compressor hooked up to this easier with the wiring harness as well
Issue with this would be mounting and then the non relay things that I have as well and how they would be hooked up to power. Could possibly use a Blue Sea Fuse Block along with this for the non relay stuff, would just need to figure out a way to mount it.

Anyone have a better plan of attack for this possibly?

Thought about that. But I don't really like the idea of it being completely wireless to be able to control stuff. Especially if I lose the remote, also takes up a lot of room and still have things that are not on a switch or anything.

Yea, but will need a space to put a blue sea so that I can have those things still hooked up and on a breaker like the CB, Rear Outlet panel, Fridge, etc.

That would also work I guess, could be a possible solution.

Picked up the last of the maintenance items today before work.

So this Thursday while I am off work:
Oil Change and be getting a sample of oil to send to Blackstone Labs to see how the engine is doing
    Spark Plug Change
New Front Rotors and Brake pads using EBC Green Pads and Premium Rotors
    Paint front brake calipers black
Remove rust and paint rear brake drums black
    Grease zerks
Check Air Filters and clean/replace if needed
    Install new front fender liners
Install rock lights in the front wheel wells.
While the wheels are off, going to giving them a good bath to clean them up and everything as well as a tire rotation.

Got to go to the mock open for the new Saltgrass here in Tyler since my roommate is a server there. This was the bill for four of us.

All the food was really good, we could only choose from four things on the menu with no duplicates, so we each got something and then just shared between us.

Best part was that it was free. All you needed to do was tip the waiter.

I posted this in the RTT thread, but there's some smart that hangs out here too. Anyone see where this might fail? I'm making a NY to NC run tomorrow and think this will do just fine, but am open to critique.

Only thing I would say would be if you had some velcro straps or something to wrap all three of the rods together instead of them being separate.

That's the kind of solid advice I can dig, though I should've thought of that on my own...

In other news: 11 hours till departure from NY to Lookout National Seashore, OBX NC. Meeting two traveling compadres for 4 days of beach camping and fishing.
