just trying to decide on weather I should go with load range c or e ko2s. Ive had the Es on my last one and they were heavy and put a dent in my gas mileage and think they were overkill for sure. Have any of you guys punctured a load range c ko2?

I use E only, yes heavier, but saved my ass twice in moab. By the way with properly inflated i get 20mpg of mix city and highway, if pure highway i get around 21

The majority of tire failures I've seen off road with radial tires is sidewal punctures. And all load ranges of radials have pretty weak sidewalks.

If you look at the Offroad tires like the Toyo Mt, Goodyear ect, they are much heavier than other similar size and rated tires.

I have KbrO2's on 3 vehicles and they are great. If you are going to be doing heavy off-roading I'd go with a heavy duty Offroad tire. That being said, my Bro's dad has 37's KO2's on his JK and he wheels pretty hard, rubicon, fordyce, dusy, Moab, and hasn't has a failure and they are rock rashed to shit, and he still streets it all the time.

I wasn't really happy with my E-Rated 295 KO2's. They rode pretty rough even at 25psi. And they were heavier than my 315 C-Rated KO's.

I have used both in the past - weight load for trailer and stuff in the bed. E were better for heavier loads but noticably stiffer than the C. Really depends on what you will be doing. I will be using C when I replace the oem tires - plenty good for my use, lighter and easier to balance.

C ratedis all you need for this truck. Get some duratracs or KBro2 in C if you want to Bro it up. E rated tires are heavy and stiff. Overkill. They will chew up what little fuel efficiency you have.

Most likely going with C. Just lurking around trying to see if anyone had a failure and the cause of it
