Welcome to TW! Are you referring to the amber indicator DRLs? Do yours turn off when the lights are on?

OP, did you mean maybe that you wanted your fogs on with your headlights?

If you turn just the parking lights on (not headlights) do your front amber indicators remain illuminated?

They should turn on as the truck came from the factory, they should also remain on when you turn on your headlights.

There is no way I would want those on with Headlights on. My 09 Drls melted the lenses at 15000 miles. Had the whole assembly changed on a TSB. They melted again after the TSB expired, I just ran with Headlights on all the time to keep Drls off. 09 was a bad year for DRLS!

They do stay on with the parking lights but turn off when the headlights are turned on

Yep i know i just bought factory replacment headlights. Put LED bulbs in though so shouldnt be a problem. They are relatively low wattage. Kind of dim in the daytime but i think they will look good at night with the headlights.

Did you notice this problem before you swapped to LEDs for the DRLs?

Im 99% sure they've always been like that. I thought thats what they were designed to do from the factory.

No, they should be on with your headlights, from the factory.
