    finally ordered my suspension.

    Bilstien 5100 with OME 886
    Heavy Duty Dakars
    Total Chaos UCA

Should I go ahead and order the ECGS bushing? Is there anyone with similar setups that didn't get the vibration?

Also, I have heard of people not using the diff drop with this setup. How do I know if I need to make that call or not?

    Thanks

Diff drop no. Don't do it.

Ecgs yes see links in my signature below. Even a 1 inch lift can cause it. Just a matter of time until it fails

Hey thanks for the reply. I don't think I will see quite 3" of lift but even with 3" of lift, no diff drop necessary. Good to know

As for the ECGS bushing, will any reputable shop have the tools to install and remove or do I need to buy those too?

You should supply Removal tool, axle seal and the bushing. Read the link here https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diff-drop-or-ecgs-cs-bushing.487906/#post-14983698

    Why not the diff drop?

Diff drops do not solve any issues, specifically with the 3rd gens, some lift companys are even advising against installing the supplied diff drops intended for the 2nd gens.

I haven't removed mine yet, but I did a level kit on mine when the 3rd gens were just trickling in. The ECGS was the only thing that actually worked.

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
Smitty can probably find the article but it isn't really necessary for these trucks. I know a few people with 200k on their 2nd gens who ran a lift for 10 years and never had a problem. That needle bearing tho....his crumbled when he removed it. He did his EGCS bushing, then mine, and tomorrow likely doing a 4runners.

How factory are you? 886's probably won't set you above 3" but might ride like a tank without any weight on the front.

100% do the ECGS bushing. You went all out with TC UCAs, might as well just eat a little more and finish the job right the first time.
