    Well I'm waiting until ac is done after spray foam to do the rest of my work. Supposed to be 3 to 4 degrees warmer in attic than inside house.

    Our water comes from the Bunker Hill aquifer where rainwater and snow melt collects from the mtns

    The water from the deep creek spillway runs north into the high desert and is mainly used for agricultural

    These work great and adds safety. It has an adjustable tether that clips right into the seat belt receiver.

    Edit to fix link.

    You may want to really look at that thing, I know a few guys who bought them they are no more then 14 gauge steel( Think 2x's as thick as the steel on your Camaro) a sharp cabinet screw driver and a hammer can cut a hole in it in a few moments with minimal noise. And yes I know that for a fact though, not that model a friend who did not believe me challenged me to do it after I told him it was crap. Not to mention it is very light weight they can just pick it up, rock it back and forth to pull the bolt heads through the interior or pry it up and take the whole thing. If they will steal a 40 inch TV that would be much more valuable. When you do get one move it in the house wrapped in a padded blanket or an appliance box. Look at liberty they are heavy but the locking dogs are 4 1 inch rods per side and 2 for the top and bottom with a glass relocker in them . You may be able to pry it up but jamming it around like that and any force put on the handle or attempt to pry breaks the relocker . The only way to open it then is to drill at the right location use a screw driver to lift the relocker after you do the combo or torch / plasma cutter. Yep know that too since my ex tried to open the safe once and did not have the combo done right yanked the handle and tada permanently locked safe. It took me a while through the dealer to get the diagram on where to drill that model and what shape the screw driver had to be bent to reach. Not many people have diamond tip drill bits :} or access to them and a mag drill :}

    My new place has an ADT Alarm system plus the walk in closet in my bedroom where this safe will be will be bolted to the floor and wall studs . The door to the closet will have a deadbolt lock and striker plate will have 4" screws into the door frame

    If they can get into my place without setting off the alarm then opening up the door with the deadbolt .Then carrying out a 98lb cabinet without being noticed then they are good

    Mike I like the way your sliders are filled in. I know at some point I would put my foot thru them.

    Damn Kevin that heat wears a person out, that I know. At this point in my life after all the heat stokes I'd be the fat white guy passed out in the attic laying across the joists. Hat off to you.

    I have a Stack On safe and like it, picked up at the Cabelas scratch and dent bargain cave for less than half price. Now I need another safe and been looking at the Stack On ones again, mine is electric combo. In the advertisements they mention that the Stack On fire rated safes are approved for purchase in Ca? So apparently there are laws there you know more about than I. But I wouldn't get one of the security cabinets, me personally anyhow. The safes they make are up there with the best of them. However been looking for a long time it is a lot of money to spend for something that doesn't go bang, that I undestand.

    Follow me to the pit :D See above, fat white guy passed out. There is a reason they let us retire after 20 years...

    I used to get .25 cents for a whistle pig tail from the farmers. Would make enough money to buy a brick of .22's to go shoot more. Woodchucks do a number on the tractors and wagons in the hay and alfalfa fields. Don't hate them but do miss shooting them in the evening and going out and blowing into an empty 22 hull and getting them to show their head out of the hole.

    Thanks Tim! I actually have that one somewhere around here :anonymous: Restricted him a bit too much and going in and out of the truck was a hassle so stopped using it. But every safety standard out there says I should be using it. And emergency responders.

    The tractor lives on. I found the short in the pto safety device under the rear fender. forgot there was even one back there. The fuel and flare will have to wait.

    Ever watched what one of these can do http://www.homedepot.com/p/Dasco-Pr...gclid=CPvWkM3lotQCFQdWDQodZ1oETg&gclsrc=aw.ds that is basically a halligan tool under a civilian name. Your dead bolt is defeated via popping the door off at the hinge side a regular pry bar would do it too. It is an interior closet door so no mullion protecting the hinges. Is the ADT land line and cellular based and does it have battery back up what is the response time? The metal the cabinet is made out of is to thin to resist prying the cabinet away from the wall and the floor the bolts will pull through the material unless you put a thicker plate in not washers a plate. I guess we have smarter crooks out here they use vans with company names on them plumbers, electricians, hvac , carpet guys etc go in through garage side door or back door everything comes out in trash bags or boxes they carry in . Yep it really does happen here usually down at the beach as a lot of those homes aren't occupied all year long and no one thinks when they see a service company by themselves at a house.

    Good luck with it I do hope you bring it in covered up and leave the box at a dumpster else where ..

    ADT is Cell phone and immediate police dispatch and the battery in the console will still activate the alarm up to 7 days with no AC power
