Haha! Someone would still buy one, and then i'm f*d!

There are a couple other guys on the forum that would kill it. Need to get an "Anything Waterjet" forum going and then pair someone there up with someone from the Anything Welding forum...

Yeah but you'd make a killing! Make like 4 of them and then you can put your kids through college.

Definitely. There's quite a few guys in Santa Rosa.

There's a meet and greet upcoming also, at a taqueria owned by one of our own. I'll tag you.

I can provide a TW decal if you want one, also. :spy:

    Backup Lights

I had these pre-wired with the driving and rock lights, but hadn't thought I'd install them until I got a plate bumper. But then seeing @Casper66's pics (and checking the resale value of a used bumper) I decided to go for it. I get a little nervous cutting holes in body panels and shiny expensive bits of the truck, so my palms were a little sweaty. Lowered the spare, got the truck up on stands, and had just enough room to get my head up in the little corner between the fender, bumper, hitch mounts, and shackle mount... Drew some lines with a silver sharpie:

Using the very scientific and precise method of putting my finger in the middle of that rectangle on the inside, and matching my finger to the same spot on the outside.... and then wiggling out from under the truck, I located the template for my @Baja Designs S2's.

    Well, here goes:

I love the step drill. I also have to say I really love this saw. It was a gift - a Bosch recip, and I know most fabricators like their angle grinder with abrasive wheel, but I don't get those things. Smelly. Wear out fast. Don't cut through perpendicular. I'm telling you, this thing is awesome.

    Test fit:

Now, there is not a single square reference anywhere near by, so locating the other hole was a bit of eyeballing.

but, all ended well. I do wish the lights came with a little foam gasket as the bumper is very much not flat in this area. But the bezel/bumper happily deformed to eachother.

Outstanding job! You flatter me refferencing my simple truck. The Baja design lights look great. If you haven't tried it in the dark yet you will find the light output to the rear and on the ground is outstanding to the point it will almost make your back up camera wash out which made me extra happy I put them on an independant switch. Great cuts also the hole saw and jigsaw were a good Idea. It's alot of fun trying to make them uniform with no real reffeence oints isn't it

Thanks! Without your pics I wouldn't have done it. I didn't think to look that far outboard, but it looks good and should work well. Yeah, I figured they would be bright so I put them on their own switch...

I have found they work great so far with their kinda down and out angle. If they were triggered along with the reverse switch it would have been a pain in the ass I'm considering adding an additional set higher up as rear work lights. Loading and unloading the 4 wlr in the dark it would be nice with additional lighting

Yeah, a couple little rock lights in the bed and on the top back corners of the cab would be useful.

I'm debating light placement as I really need to decide which direction I'm going with the bed. I'm either going to put the bed bars back on and the basket and if that's the case I've already fabbed some light tabs to weld to the rear bar for rearward facing lights along with fabbing some quick fist mounts for the bars. Or, what I'm leaning more toward is a best top. I caould fab up some light brackets for the bed corners and mount the Hilift and tools inside the bed. Only thing holding me back is the money. When i get done with the wheels I am going to go get some 3/16 plate and fab some frame reinforcing brackets for the front bumperr
