Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Exactly, we have a fish and my daughter never looks at it. The first one died and it sat in the tank for a few days before we replaced it and she never noticed. It was in her room too.

I'm going to be making the 6 year old help me though. She already took charge of cleaning the cage before putting them in.

My kids had hamsters and I was tired of having to replace them every year. Made the move to guinea pigs and it has been pretty awesome. They are really pretty cool pets. If I were you, I would make damn sure they are both the same sex or separate them now if it's not to late already, otherwise your gonna have a lot more than 2!

 

Haha yeah we watched a guinea pig for 2 weeks and really liked it. So much better than the rabbit we watched first. I will never own one. Going to try and leash train them so I can be a boss and walk my pigs at TW camping trips.

The pet stores only sell same sex, so we are good. Might be some scissoring but no babies...

 

Gerbils are fun....IYKWIM

 

Yeah the pet store told us that also and two weeks later my daughter had a cage full babies.

Ah, bummer. Yeah, it's gorgeous up there. I'm just asking because I have a friend who managed to somehow get stuck in some snow with no recovery gear. Haha. I guess the lessons he learned from watching me get stuck in the desert back in the day did not stick with him!

I know the Race Director personally. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis. If you are a regular Bay swimmer, I have no doubt you can get the exemption.

 

The ex did OW swims like that. Minus the wetsuit. Frozen popsicle at the end.
