I've seen a lot of mixed thoughts on cap water-tightness. One of my main uses for the cap will be sleeping. What can I do before I take my truck in for install? Add seals? I've seen this, this and this one recommended around here. Anything with the bed rails?

Along those same lines, what questions should I be asking my dealer before I buy? What should I expect them to do? What should I be looking for?

Bonus points: Recommend a Middle TN Leer dealer.

1" rear drop. Currently sits 34.5" in the front and 35.0" in the rear.
I've been researching shells and I think they come with bottom seals for the shell to the bed from the factory/dealer. You may want to get a tailgate seal to keep dust out; probably Google "Tacoma tailgate seal". AutoTrim in Columbia has LEER. There's bound to be a dealer in Nashville. Good luck!

The dealer should know how to install with the proper seals and silicone for the front rail. The other foam seals for the tailgate gaps are items you can add afterwards.

Attempted to seal the tailgate against dust. I used these 2 things, hasn't been long enough to know if they work well/stay applied.
edit, 3 months in everything looks good, 95% Sealed.

I've starting talking to Auto Pro Nashville (in Brentwood) they seem fine, but I was curious if others could recommend somewhere. I was planning on using this tailgate seal.

You say 95% sealed. Where are the leaks coming from? I think I was planning on using the same tailgate seal, but I don't know anything about ROK Block, will check it out.

I could have been more clear in the original post. I plan on using this to seal the tailgate. This for the bed-rail sides. And this for the front, near the cab. I had planned on doing the silicone under the bed-rails myself, before I took it in but I guess I could at least ask if they'll go it, I just have a suspicion they will use the wrong stuff (if I don't supply it) or not do it and tell me they did (If I supply it).

    Thanks for the replies.

EDIT: Looked at the Rok Block Tailgate Gap Cover, will be adding that to the list. Thanks again!

My cap is watertight, the leaks i am describing are dust penetration from some gaps around the tailgate. The dealer should use a multi bulb seal for the rails as it comes with the topper. As for the header rail supplying that item will likely help, as my guy just used tons of silicon. They did not silicon under the bed rails and I haven't had any water get in that way, and this was a very rainy winter here.
